Travel to New Bangalore Airport

Is it feasible to travel 2 hours to New Bangalore Airport whereas it takes just 2.5 hours from Bangalore to Delhi. Not sure if Government will allow HAL Airport to be operational together with New Airport but it certainly be in favour of Domestic flight traveller to have it operational to save time and money as it certainly is going to twice the taxi fair for New Airport as opposed to HAL one... Have your ideas coming...
